Other than it being super cold and windy, I can’t think of a more enjoyable afternoon in Savannah. Kim and Garrett chose the gorgeous Lafayette Square in downtown Savannah for their elopement, where they were surrounded by their closest family and friends. Tracy Brisson, of Savannah Custom Weddings, was the officiant, and was amazing as always. The azaleas were blooming and the sun was shining. Kim was stunning in her blush pink gown with the prettiest lace sleeves, and Garrett so handsome in his blue suit. I really do love a blue suit!
To top it all off, we spent 90 minutes riding around in Pedicabs from Royal Bike Taxi to hit all the best photo spots!! I can’t tell you how much I loved this day, all the shooting I got to do in my favorite spots, and not having to walk to hit them all! These Pedicabs are the way to go, and the only bad things is that I’m spoiled now! Take a look at all these pretty places we went in such a short amount of time!!
Right across the street we had to stop at the Cathedral of St. Jean the Baptist. One of the most iconic and GORGEOUS sites in all of Savannah!
Next stop, the Gastonian, which is one of the 6 Historic Inns of Savannah. I’ve photographed a couple elopements here, and it is totally awesome!
Next stop, Forsyth Park! There is something for everyone is this gorgeous space. Oaks, mossy, the Iconic Forsyth Fountain, playgrounds, lots of open green space for picnics and frisbee, the Fragrant Garden, historic statues, a covered stage, tennis courts, and lots more!
Since it was soooo cold, we made Jones Street the last stop. This picturesque street has cobblestone, so many oaks lining the roads, and beautiful old homes that are just begging to be photographed!
