I loved everything about this engagement session in Forsyth Park! From the sweet doggie who was the perfect model, to Rebecca’s pink flowy dress and heels, to John’s baby blue shirt and tan pants. These were all the perfect ingredients for gorgeous photos. Not to mention the light that was JUST RIGHT to get the perfect fountain photos!
Speaking of clothes– this is a good time for education! I LOVE dresses and skirts on my ladies, because it gives you something to do with your hands, AND it looks awesome when the sun lights it up! When you dress up for your session, you look amazing, feel amazing, and the end product reflects that. So go all out, and use this time to really dress up — you will be glad you did! One more thing– notice how light and airy these are– and the colors they chose– light, pastel, neutral colors are perfect for my light and airy style. You probably don’t realize it, but there is so much more than editing that goes into light and airy style– colors, back lighting, background, front lighting, even types of trees! A crepe myrtle or mossy oak will result in light and dreamy– a magnolia, privet, or ligustrum will not. The light has to shine through the leaves, or it will just be a “black hole”!
Rebecca and John will be married in November at Lucy Belle Farm! Guess who get to photograph that amazing day— ME!! I love meeting my couples at their engagement sessions, then I learn what they like (and don’t like), and they are even more comfy with me when the big day arrives!
Can’t wait to see these two again SOON!! I hope you enjoy!
