OK so let me start with an apology. This is my first blog post in a LONG time. I have been too busy honestly! I wear all the hats, I run my business all by myself, so it’s a challenge to do all the things. The hectic summer beach session season has come to a close and time to get in gear for allll the weddings over the next 2 months! I have ONE day, yes today, before life gets crazy. It’s a good kinda crazy, but still busy. So I’m posting this one, out of MANY weddings I’ve had the pleasure to shoot this year, while I have a free day.

Samantha and Cory are one of my favorite couples ever… she is a middle school band director and he is serving our country in the Army. You can’t get much more lovable than that! To top it all off, Perry Lane is now my favorite venue. Ivanna is so lovely and it’s been great getting to know her. I have 3 Perry Lane weddings so far this year, and I enjoy every minute of it! I got to work with my favorite florist and good friend Kati Esser, we had a great planner, Vanessa Saturday, and an awesome DJ James with All About You Entertainment.  My “friendors” (Savannah Wedding Vendor friends haha!) Joe Peterson of Peterson Bothers Media, and Maria Noel with Southern Belle by Maria Noel were there too, and it was so nice seeing them as well!

I’m so blessed to have worked this perfect wedding. You know I love the tears and raw emotion, and there was plenty of that. Take a moment and scroll through my favorites. Not all posts are this long, but sometimes I just can’t narrow down my favorites any further.

Picture it, Savannah in August. Yes, it was very hot and humid on this day, but at least it didn’t rain! Kelly Tours provided us with an air conditioned trolley, and after about 30 minutes in Forsyth Park, everyone was ready to get back to the hotel.

Thanks to Perry Lane being so amazing, we finished portrait time at The Emporium Kitchen and Wine Market, which is actually inside the hotel.  Fun time with your closest friends, plus air conditioning AND champagne? Yep, it was pretty perfect.

What a gorgeous view, AND a cool ceremony arch provided by Savannah Vintage and Event Rentals!
